Charles was born December 9, 1953 in Iowa City, IA to Buddy & Marvella (Acosta) Woods Sr. Charles’s had been a chef for 30 years with Jim’s Rib Haven Rock Island prior to retiring in 2017. He joyed playing Bingo, video games, traveling, fishing, and attending youth sporting events. A couple of his favorite past times were shopping at Goodwill and relaxing in front of the TV. Charles was loved by many friends and family and will be missed.
Survivors include 2 Sisters Edith 'Pebbles' (Bobby) Farrar of Wisconsin and Carol Mentria, Rock Island, IL; 2 brothers Roger (Melissa) Woods of Knoxville, IA and David Mentria, St. Louis, MO; and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
