Chris John Ferris

Chris J. Ferris, 55, of Eldridge, Iowa passed away unexpectedly on Friday, August 24, 2012 at Genesis Medical Center, East Campus, in Davenport. Funeral services will be held in the Runge Mortuary Chapel at 10 am on Wednesday, August 29, 2012. Visitation will be from 4-7 pm Tuesday at the mortuary. Burial will be in Mount Calvary Cemetery. He was born December 25, 1956 in Davenport, Iowa, a son of John and Juanita (Shaw) Ferris. On June 17, 1989 he married Diana Drake in Rock Island, Illinois.

Mr. Ferris was employed at I-80 Truckstop and formerly by Yogi’s in Calamus. Recently, he had begun South 11th Avenue Muscle Cars in Eldridge. He loved music and performing with PHD, Tunester and most recently the Three Moes.

Survivors include his wife, Diana; children and spouses Derrick and Traci Ferris and Mikkie and Bill Navin; grandchildren: Makayla Navin, Aleigha Navin, Jack Gomez, and Hudson Ferris; and siblings and spouses: Terrie and Steve Palmer, Mike and Wendy Ferris, and Marty and Stephanie Ferris.
