Sid was born August 13, 1937, the son of Merle and Dora (Cook) Geeding in McDonald County, MO. He was united in marriage to Vicki VanTuyl. He was employed at a cement plant for 53 years. He also owned and operated Clarks Landing Restaurant in Buffalo, IA, and owned a trucking company.
Sid loved working in his garden, gardening, growing his tomatoes, and canning spring tomato juice. He also loved animals.
Those left to cherish his memory include his children, Curtis (the late, Kelli) Geeding, Kevil, KY, and Chris (Charlene) Geeding, Breckenridge County, KY; stepdaughter, Lisa Johanssen, Blue Grass, IA. and stepson Glen Neill; sister, Georgia Beshears, Bartlesville, OK; 6 grandchildren; and 4 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; beloved wife, Vicki; son, Jimmy; grandson, Tade; and brothers, Doug Geeding and Marvin Geeding;
