He courageously battled leukemia since August, 2020. His positive attitude towards treatment was evident to everyone around him. Visitation will be held Friday, July 1, at the Runge Mortuary from 4-7 pm. Funeral services will be held at 11 am on Saturday, July 2, at Christ United Methodist Church, Davenport, followed by a luncheon. Memorials in his honor may be made to the Adolescent & Young Adult Cancer Program at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics or RTS Missions. Collin was born March 20, 1998 in Davenport, IA. He was a 2016 graduate of Davenport West High School and had taken online courses through Southern New Hampshire University. Collin had worked in retail sales and management and had a passion for his job. He was most recently employed as the Retail Operations Manager at Ulta.
Collin was known as a kind, vibrant, and generous soul. He was very hardworking. He enjoyed reading, music, and his animals. He especially enjoyed his many mission trips to Haiti as a believer in Jesus Christ, Amen!
Those left to honor his memory include his parents, David and Cindy Broadie; brother, Christopher Broadie; sister, Ashley Broadie; and maternal grandmother, Mildred Konicek; along with many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
