Services will be at The Runge Mortuary on Friday, 21, 2025 at 2 pm. Visitation will be Thursday from 4-7 pm at the Runge Mortuary. Her final resting place will be in Davenport Memorial Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may go to St. Jude or Trinity Lutheran Church.
Connie was born in Rock Island on January 19, 1961. She was the daughter of Edward and Joyce (Simmons) Brown. She was united in marriage to David Helfrich on June 6, 1990.
She worked for several area businesses in the Quad Cities including Service Rubber in Rock Island. Her favorite job was being a daycare provider as she loved being around children. She enjoyed camping and spending time with her dog, “Kittie” and loved spending the winters in Florida.
Those left to honor her memory include her husband, David, brother, Tommy (Diane) Brown, sister, Deborah (Rodger) Buckwalter; heart children: Andrea Helfrich, Matthew (Sarah) Helfrich and grandchildren: Isaiah, Zoe, Ava, Paige, Maddie, Noah and Benjamin, her beloved dog, “Kittie,” and a host of other friends and neighbors. She will be deeply missed.
Her parents, grandparents and brothers, Joe and Craig preceded her in death.
