Connie J Retherford

Connie is survived by her daughter Dawn (Dan) Haley of Royal Oak, MD; numerous nieces and nephews; and Deb Herman, a long-time valued family friend.

She is preceded in death by her husband Donald; son David; brothers William Marshall, Marvin Marshall, and Adam Marshall; sisters Alice Frye, Betty Leeper, Margaret Romine and Ruth Frazier.

Connie enjoyed traveling the world with her husband, spending time with her daughter and son-in-law at their home on the Chesapeake Bay, gardening and spending time with family. She loved embroidering various items for family and friends.

She worked for Litton Industries, and retired from the Administrative Support Systems after a long and successful career. She was highly regarded and well respected by all.

Per her wishes, she will be cremated and a committal service will be held at the Rock Island National Cemetery, on Friday, November 6th at 11:00 a.m. Immediately following the graveside service, a Celebration of Life will be at the Putnam Museum, 1717 W 12th Street Davenport, IA, from 12 -2:00 pm.
