A celebration of his life will be Saturday, January 20, 2024 at 4 pm at Coram Deo Bible Church in Davenport. Visitation will be Saturday from 2 pm to 4 pm at the church. Memorials may go to the church or Gilda’s Club. Online condolences may be left at www.rungemortuary.com.
Cory was born May 28, 1971 in Stevens Point WI, the son of Benedict and Gladys (Yenter) Ziolkowski. He graduated from North Central Technical College in Wausau, WI and Emmaus Bible College in Dubuque, IA. He married Glenda Webb on March 7, 2003 in Wausau, WI. Cory worked as a welder for 17 years for John Deere. He was a faithful follower of Jesus and an active member of Coram Deo Bible Church for the last 16 years.
He had a great sense of humor and was an easygoing man. He loved sports of all kinds; especially the Green Bay Packers. He always looked forward to his annual high school baseball tournament in Mosinee, WI.
Those left to honor his memory include his wife, Glenda, daughters, Abigail and Elizabeth, brothers: Chris (Gale), Wisconsin Rapids, WI, Brian (Pam), Hatley, WI, Jim (Diana), Hatley, WI, Ben, Weston, WI; sisters: Debbie (Ron) Wanta, Hatley, WI, Lynn (Steve) Kizewski Wausau, WI, Lisa Wanta, Hatley, WI and Teri Tranetzke, Neenah, WI; brother-in-law, Dale Burazin, Wausau, WI and 28 nieces and nephews. His parents, sister, Lori Burazin, sister-in-law, Marcia (Meis) Ziolkowski and nephew, Derek Kizewski preceded him in death.
Cory requested attendees wear red, white and blue. Red in honor of Jesus’s blood, white in honor of our forgiven sins and Wisconsin snow, and blue in honor of being caught up in the clouds with Jesus.
