Daniel L. Raymond

Daniel L. Raymond, 53, of Davenport, died Friday, September 2, 2011 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. Private funeral services will be held. Burial will be in Davenport Memorial Park Cemetery. Online condolences may be left at www.therungemortuary.com

Daniel was born February 5, 1958 in Iowa City, IA, the son of Earl T. and Marilyn (Doermann) Raymond.

Daniel owned and operated Raymond’s Auction Service for over thirty-five years and also worked seventeen years at Nichols Aluminum. He was a proud, thirty-eight year member of the Iowa and Missouri Auctioneer Association.

Those left to honor his memory include his daughter, Casey (Rowdy) Smith, Blue Grass, son, Sean (Nicole) Raymond, Iowa, granddaughters: Cydnee Smith and Jasmine Raymond, brothers: Larry, Gilbert, Randy, Kevin and Donnie and sisters: Cindy Raymond, Teresa Reyes, Judy Lange and Donna Rydzewski. His parents, brother, Lloyd and sisters, Joyce Warren, Virginia Robinson, Brenda Woodruff and Linda Raymond preceded him in death.
