Danny D. Mullanack

Danny D. Mullanack, 61, of Buffalo, IA, passed away Friday, April 13, 2012, surrounded by family and friends, following a courageous battle with cancer. Funeral services will be Tuesday, April 17, 2012 at 1:00 pm at The Runge Mortuary. Visitation will be Monday from 5-7 pm at the mortuary. Burial will be in Rosehill Cemetery, Buffalo, IA. Danny was born August 9, 1950 in Davenport, the son of Morgan Mullanack and Edna (Baney) Menes. He was united in marriage to Linda Remley on April 12, 1969 in Rock Island, IL. Danny retired from LaFarge Company after 28 years. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, gardening and spending quality time with his family and friends. He especially looked forward to Wednesday night meetings at Possum Lodge. Those left to honor his memory include his wife of forty-three years, Linda; children: Tina (Scott) Deters; Amy (Tim) Carlson; Daniel (Kate) Mullanack; grandchildren: Alana, Brandon, Brique, Austin, Nicole, Colten, Alyssa, Hunter, Hannah and Hallie; seven great grandchildren; brothers: Donnie, Rick, David and Guy; sisters: Norma, Heather, Chrissy, Melissa and Doni; and many nieces, nephews, extended family and countless friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers: Lonnie, Jimmie and Ronnie and one granddaughter, baby Lynn. Following the committal services at the cemetery, friends and family are invited to celebrate his life at the Buffalo Community Center.
