Darlene was born on October 12, 1936, in Durant, IA to Waldo and Ethel Buchmeier Schneckloth. She was united in marriage to Michael Kelly on June 21, 1958, in Wilton, IA.
Darlene enjoyed dancing, shopping and going to the casino.
She is survived by her sister Vickie (Dean) Stoltenberg; brother, Jack (Jane) Schneckloth; nieces, Sandra Stoltenberg, Mary Ann Stoltenberg-Smith and Barbi Ragan; numerous brother and sister-in-laws.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and sister Deanna Hager.
