Darren Bayers, 59, of Davenport, passed away at home on Wednesday, January 04, 2012 Visitation will be held Saturday, January 7, 2012 from noon until 3:00 pm at the Runge Mortuary. Darren was born March 31, 1952 in Muscatine, IA, the son of Roy I. Bayers. . He was united in marriage to Brenda Pike on June 15, 1973 in Davenport.
Darren had owned R.I. Bayers Realty from 1996 until he retired in 1998. He enjoyed collecting comic books, action figures and muscle cars and was an avid Yankees, Packers and Celtics fan.
Those left to honor his memory include his wife, Brenda, Davenport; “special daughter” Kacy Notton; son, Jacob; daughter-in-law, Gloria Collazo and grandchildren: Taylor, Haley and Logan Bayers, all of Davenport. His father preceded him in death.
