David Bao Lam Nguyen, 21, of Davenport, passed away Sunday, February 23, 2014 at his home. Visitation will be Tuesday, February 25, 2014 from 8 am until 8 pm at The Runge Mortuary and Wednesday, February 26, 2014 from 8 am until 12 pm at the mortuary followed by a funeral service starting at noon. David was born June 27, 1992 in Davenport, the son of Vu Lam and Liana Loan Nguyen. He graduated from Davenport West High School and was currently attending college with hopes of becoming a dental hygienist. He was a loving, caring son who loved his family very much. He was very strong and always had a smile on his face. He is survived by his mother, Liana Loan Nguyen, brother, John Anh Nguyen and sister, Rosie Nguyen, all of Davenport; paternal grandmother, Bay Nguyen, Davenport; uncle, Dai Nguyen, Massachusetts and an aunt, Vivien Bui, Des Moines, IA. He was preceded in death by his father, Vu Lam Nguyen.
