David Lee DePover, 65, of Davenport, passed away Tuesday, December 1, 2015 in Davenport. A visitation will be held on Friday, December11, 2015 from 5:30pm until 7:30 pm at The Runge Mortuary. The family has requested that you wear your favorite NFL apparel. Memorials may be made to the Scott County Humane Society. Cremation rites will be accorded.
David was born July 5, 1950 in Davenport; the son of Daniel DePover Sr. and Billy Lou (Wood) Koch. He graduated from Central High School in 1968 and attended Scott Community College. He worked as a design draftsman. His hobbies included anything NFL, NASCAR, motorcycles, movies and playing euchre.
He fiercely loved his animals and friends.
Survivors include his sons: Joshua (Sarah) DePover and Michael Elmer; grandchildren: Christopher Gilley, and Codey Elmer, Tayler Heskett and Rebecca DePover; and four great grandchildren including, Gracie Willis and Sophia; siblings: Cyndi Johnson, Daniel DePover, Jr., LaVonne Helton and aunts Marjene Drewelow and Laura Meyer; and uncles, Larry Wood and Larry DePover.
