David A. Dierickx, 44, of Davenport, passed away Monday, January 3, 2011 at home. Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 8, 2011 at 1:00 PM in the Runge Mortuary Chapel. Visitation will be from 5-8PM Friday, January 7, 2011 at the mortuary. Burial will be at Fairmount Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the family. David was born September 30, 1966 in Davenport, the son of Karen Miller and Craig Dierickx.
He was employed with Central Plain Electric of Davenport as an electrician. He was an avid NASCAR fan and enjoyed fishing and golfing. The New York Jets were his favorite team in the NFL. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
Those left to honor his memory are his mother, Karen Miller, Davenport; father, Craig Dierickx; sister, Kelly Holeman and her husband, Joseph, Davenport; son, Mitchell; daughter, Melanie; nieces, Rebecca and Kayla; and many loving friends.
He was preceded in death by his uncle, Dennis Miller; grandmother, Irene Miller; and grandparents, Warren and Bonnie Dierickx.
