Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 22, 2024 from 3:00-6:00 p.m. at the Runge Mortuary in Davenport. Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, September 23, 2024 at the mortuary. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family.
David was born on April 3, 1956 to Delbert and Elizabeth Fox in Davenport, IA. After many years of service David retired from the Local 150 as a Heavy Equipment Operator.
Beyond his professional life, Foxy’s heart belonged to music. Playing in the Del Fox Band was more than a passion; it was his way of connecting with others. His talent and ability to read a crowd made every performance unforgettable, touching the hearts of many who had the pleasure of hearing him. Foxy was known for his hardworking spirit, immense talent, and endless generosity. He loved fishing, sharing moments with his family, and was known for his big heart.
Those celebrating his life are his children, Travis Fox, Stephanie (Jake) Kilberg, Lindsay Fox, and Steven Fox; sibling Danny (Mary) Fox; 3 granddaughters, 7 grandsons; and one great grandson.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Donnie and Delbert Jr.; and sister Debbie.
The family would like to thank Clarissa C. Cook Hospice and their wonderful nursing staff. Also to Foxy’s musical family and longtime family of friends.
