He was born May 19, 1930 in Ashland, IL; a son of Frank and Permelia (Ringler) Hinds. On December 25, 1953 he married Delores Pheal in Springfield, IL; she preceded him in death.
David was a long-time cab driver for the Lincoln Cab Company in Springfield, IL.
Survivors include his children: Cheryl, Kathy, Melody, David Jr. and Joe, all of California; several grandchildren, a brother, Howard, of Rochester, IL and long-time companion, Viola Meier of Davenport. He was also preceded in death by a son, Allen and eight brothers.
