David Lee Rindler Jr.

David Lee Rindler Jr., age 74, of Davenport, Iowa, passed away on Thursday July 23rd, 2026 at the Clarissa Cook Hospice House surround by his loving wife and family. He was born on April 16th, 1952, in Davenport, Iowa, to David Lee Rindler Sr. and Darlene Lillian Rindler.

David will be remembered as a hardworking industrial electrician at Alaris for 40+ yrs. His hobbies included obedience training, tracking, therapy, and schutzhund work with German Shepards, gardening and landscaping, and caring for his turtle George.

He is survived by his loving wife Kathy Rindler and dog Crissie, son David Rindler III (Jennifer Rindler) and daughter Dawn Cox (William Cox), grandson Cody Parsons, granddaughter Katlyn Cox (Jeremy Schulte) and granddaughter Alabama Firrell (Devin Firrell), cousins Gary Rindler (Valerie Ragusa), Robert Rindler, and Wayne Rindler .

He was preceded in death by his father David Lee Rindler Sr., mother Darlene Lillian Rindler, brother Joseph Paul Rindler and sister Anna Marie Mosier.

No visitation will be held to uphold David’s wishes however a private funeral service will be held at Fairmount Cemetery. His family is grateful for the kindness and support shown during this time.

In lieu of flowers any donations can be made to Kings Harvest Pet Rescue in honor of David’s love for all animals.
