Debbie Reid

Debbie Reid, 64, of Davenport, passed away Monday, April 2, 2012 in the comfort of her own home surrounded by her loving family. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 PM, Friday, April 6, 2012, at The Runge Mortuary. Visitation will be held from 12:30 PM until service time at the mortuary. Memorials may be made to St. Mark Lutheran Church, Davenport, Hospice Compassus, or Scott County Humane Society. Burial will be at Memorial Park Cemetery. Online condolences may be expressed at www.rungemortuary.com. Debbie was born on January 27, 1948 in Davenport, Iowa, the daughter of Denzil and Allein (Klement) Kinney. She married William Reid on December 21, 1968 at St. Mark Lutheran Church, Davenport. Debbie worked clerical and Accounts Payable jobs at various businesses retiring from Barjan. Debbie is the beloved mother of Robert (Jen), Rebecca (Todd), and Ryan (Julie), beloved Nana of Alyson (Ryan), Nick, Taylor and Dalton, and great grandma of Adyson. She will be remembered by her sisters, Cathy (Chuck) Keegan and Jackie Kinney. Debbie enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She was a gifted painter and crafter. Debbie helped plan many class reunions. She was a member of St. Mark Lutheran Church. She was preceded in death by her parents.
