Debbie Jo Skipton

Debbie Jo Skipton, 64, of Davenport passed away on Saturday, December 24, 2016 at Manor Care, Davenport. A memorial service will be held at 12:00 noon on Tuesday, January 3, 2017 at the Runge Mortuary. Visitation will be an hour prior to the service at the mortuary.

Debbie was born on September 22, 1952 in Davenport, IA the daughter of Nelson and Eileen “Nonnie” DeVol and the late Betty McDonald. She enjoyed T.V., crossword puzzles, knitting, and crocheting. She loved her family with all her heart.

Survivors include her parents; son, Darryl Nicholson and Danny Parker; grandchildren: Darrian, Aiden, Cerina and Sydney; siblings: Linda (Jeff) Davis, Coffeyville, KS, Kathie (Herbie) Atwood, Riverdale, IA, Judith (Joe) Bertram, Ankeny, IA, Barbara (Billy) Haussmann, Davenport, IA, Gary (Teresa) DeVol, Loves Park, IL, James (Lisa) DeVol, Davenport, IA , Michael (Susie) DeVol, Davenport, Mark (Tammy) DeVol, Muscatine County, IA, Glynn R. DeVol, Bettendorf, IA, Vicky (Tim) Peeks, Walcott, Buddy (Kathy) McDonald, Centerville, IA and Tina (Jim) Miller; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Debbie was preceded in death by her mother, sister Ginger Brooks, niece Samantha and nephew James.
