Deborah Susan Bishel

Deborah Susan Bishel, 75, passed away on June 7, 2026. A visitation will be held at the Cunnick-Collins Life Celebration Center in Davenport, IA on Saturday, June 13th, 2026, beginning at 10:00 a.m., with a service to follow at 11:00 a.m. Burial will take place at Davenport Memorial Park, followed by a luncheon at the Cunnick-Collins Celebration Center.

Debbi was born on December 1, 1950, daughter of Mary and James Baird, and sister of David Baird, who preceded her in death.

She was united in marriage to her spouse, Bill Bishel, on January 18th, 1980, spending 46 years of marriage together.

Debbi’s most loved hobbies included being on the water, her river home, gardening, spending quality time with her family and friends, who she loved beyond measure, traveling, cruising, drinking margaritas, chocolate, and picking out the perfect card. She was known for making people feel special and loved.

She spent 40 years of her life working as a hairdresser for Alpine Hair Fashions.

She is survived by her loving spouse, William “Bill” Bishel; children, Will Bishel, Kathy (Mike) Soucek, Jennifer (Ryan) Boling, and adoptive daughter, Amanda (Jason) Gruenhagen; Grandchildren, Jessica, Jordan, Jacy, Jenna, Logan, Dylan, Cody, Landen, and Fina; Great grandchildren, Madison and baby boy on the way, Kora and baby girl on the way, and Isabella; and her beloved pets, Cotton, Lucie, Carley, and Tippy.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to her family.
