Deborah A. Brown

A service to celebrate the life of Deborah A. Brown, 56, of Bettendorf will held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday at Cunnick-Collins Mortuary chapel in Davenport. The family will greet friends from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service. Per her wishes, cremation rites have been accorded. Ms. Brown passed away at her residence on Wednesday, November 5, 2014 following a courageous battle with cancer. Deborah Ann Brown was born on June 14, 1958 in Rock Island, IL, the daughter of Charles and Ruth (Williams) Brown. She graduated from Bettendorf High School in 1976, and in 1986 earned a Bachelor’s degree in Business Law and Accounting from Marycrest College. Deborah worked as the payroll administrator at Green Buick GMC in Davenport. She thoroughly enjoyed her job but above all, she treasured the friendships she made with her co-workers. Deborah was also a very active member of the former Broadview United Methodist Church. She is survived by her Parents: Charles (Ruth) Brown of Bettendorf; her Sisters: Paula (Larry) Gladfelter of Parkview, IA, Susan Brown (Scott Schlemmer) of Davenport; her Niece and Nephews: Anna Brown of DeWitt, IA, A.J. (Emily) Brown of Parkview, John Gladfelter of Parkview; her Great-Nieces and Nephew: Allison Brown, Lucille Brown, Austin Senske; as well as her friends at Green Buick GMC.
