Delores J. Behning

Funeral services for Delores J. Behning, 71, of Blue Grass, IA will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, September 29, 2017 at the Cunnick-Collins Mortuary Chapel in Davenport. Burial will follow at Davenport Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will greet friends on Thursday from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Mortuary. Mrs. Behning died on Tuesday, September 26, 2017 at Manor Care in Bettendorf.Delores Jane Sisco was born on November 14, 1945 in Wyandotte, MI. After moving to Bettendorf at a young age she eventually graduated from Bettendorf High School and later married Robert E. Behning on October 24, 1964 in Davenport. In her earlier years she had worked at Oscar Mayer in Davenport but mostly was a housewife, homemaker and Mom.Surviving members of the family include – her Husband: Robert of Blue Grass; a Daughter: Shelly (Greg) Oake of Round Hill VA, 2 Sons: Robert (Kim) Behning Jr. of Bettendorf, and Bryan (Heather) Behning of Calamus, IA; a Sister: Nancy Vessells of Hot Springs, AR; 2 Brothers: Ken Sisco of Minneapolis, MN and Jim Vessells of Austin, TX; 5 Grandchildren and 1 Great-Grandson.Preceding her in death were her parents, a sister, Mary, and a brother, William.
