Denise Bowrey

Denise Bowrey, 49, of Davenport Iowa passed away on May 27, 2025. A celebration of Denise's life will be held on Sunday, July 13, 2025 at the Runge Mortuary from 2:00 p.m.-5:00 p.m. Memorials may be made to the family. Online condolences may be left at www.rungemortuary.com.

Denise was born on February 13, 1976, in Davenport Iowa to Edward and Marlene (Weiskopf) Allers. She graduated from Davenport West High School in 1994 and went on to obtain an associate degree from Scott Community College. Denise worked for many years as a bank teller and crossing guard. She was united in marriage to Dennis Bowrey Jr. on August 23, 1997. Together they had two children, Luke and Skylar.

Denise loved being with family, crocheting scarves and blankets, sitting with her babies, fishing, the outdoors and watching her dogs in her yard. She also enjoyed doing color street, a bead to remember, attending vendor shows, road trips and trying new things with friends and family.

She is survived by her husband, Dennis; children, Luke, Skylar (Mark); parents, Edward and Marlene; siblings, Duane (Michelle)and Dean and her beloved fur babies Milo and Millie.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents; great grandparents; uncles, Wayne Weiskopf, Daniel Weiskopf; aunt, Delores Weiskopf and fur babies, Angel and Lexi.
