Denzil "Joe" Buller

Denzil B.”Joe” Buller, 84, of Le Claire, Iowa passed away on Sunday, February 3, 2013 in Davenport. Visitation will be from 4-7 pm on Thursday, February 7, 2013 at the Runge Mortuary. Burial will be in Davenport Memorial Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made for Amyloidosis research by calling the Mayo Clinic at (800) 297-1185. He was born August 1, 1928 in Bradshaw, Nebraska, a son of John and Dora (Deoll) Buller. He served in the US Army during the Korean Conflict and married Ann J. Dvorak in Davenport in 1956. She preceded him in death in 2004.

Mr. Buller was a union carpenter for over fifty years.

Survivors include his son and daughter-in-law, Jeffrey and Charlotte Buller of Bolingbrook, Illinois, two granddaughters Verna and Dora, a great grandson, Noah, all of Bolingbrook, sister, Maryann; brother-in-law Albert; and sisters-in-law Edith and Evelyn.

In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Becky Buller-Holtz, a sister, Jean and brothers, Dell, Dean, and Grant.
