Diana Schau

Diana was born on October 15, 1961, the daughter of Kenneth and Patricia (Hummel) Abrahamson. She was a 1980 Central High School graduate. She was a graduate from Kirkwood College with a degree as an Iowa Master Florist. She was united in marriage to Randy on August 29, 1981, and had three children.

Diana worked at Bokay Flower Shop with her mom and close family & friends for multiple years as a 4th-generation florist. She continued her master floristry from home working on cemetery arrangements and special designs. She was a member and secretary of the Iowa-Illinois Professional Florist Association. She also worked at the West YMCA childcare, before retiring.

Diana enjoyed watching nature. She loved watching her TV shows, playing computer games, and going out to eat. She loved her animals.

Diana is survived by her husband Randy; children, Daniel Schau, Kimberlee (Brian) Amerine, and Andrew Schau; sister, Deborah (Larry) Wells; brother-in-law Jerry Lockrem; Aunt Sally Schamp; In-Laws: Larry (Marilyn) Schau, Wanda (John) Vander Heiden, Dave (Pam) Schau, Connie (Ron) Voss; grandchildren: Dakota, Makenlee, Bentley, Kamdyn, cousins, and many nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death are both of her parents and in-laws, sister Lynn Lockrem, grandson Bentley, and many friends and family.
