Diane Craig Ruefer

Diane C. Ruefer, 79, of Davenport, Iowa passed away on Tuesday, October 17, 2023 at Genesis East Hospital with her family by her side. Per her request cremation rites have been accorded and there will be no services at this time.

Diane was born on October 23, 1943 in San Jose, California to Bernard and Elizabeth Jacobs. After moving to the Quad Cities, she worked as an insurance adjustor for Aetna Life and Causality and later retired from John Deere Health. Diane was a social butterfly and enjoyed spending time playing cards, going to the casino, and playing BINGO. Most of all Diane loved her family and going to various family gatherings.

Those left to honor her memory are her sons Scott Ruefer, Douglas Ruefer, and Christopher Ruefer; granddaughters Megan (Jason) Youngs, Brittany (Ryan) Stremlow, Katie Ruefer, and Madison Ruefer; siblings Charles Plum and Leslie (Todd) James; and four nieces.

She was preceded in death by her parents and grandparents.
