Cremation rites have been accorded. Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 18, at the Runge Mortuary. Visitation will begin at noon. Diane was born May 17, 1943 to Mavin and Eleanor (Conners) Petersen in Rome, NY. On March 30, 1968 she was united in marriage to Gary Skiles and they later divorced. She graduated from Central High School and then received her degree in nursing from University of Minnesota. She was employed at St. Luke’s Hospital for many years.
Those left to cherish her memory include her children, Patrick Skiles, Chris Skiles; and grandchildren, Marie Skiles, Nick Skiles, Skyler Skiles, and Dalton Skiles.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
