Donald L. Dage, 83, of Bettendorf, passed away on Thursday, February 1, 2024 at his home. Visitation will be held from 4-7 p.m. on Friday, February 9, 2024 at Weerts Funeral Home. Donald was born on December 23, 1944 in Hancock, MN to Harold and Josephine (Mason) Dage. He proudly served in the United States Army National Guard. Donald was united in marriage to Katherine “Jeane” Selser on October 27, 1962 in Eldon, IA. She preceded him in death on December 24, 2023. Donald worked as a mechanic for Oscar Meyer for 27 years. From 1966 to 1976, he worked as a mechanic for Robin Hood Flour.
Donald enjoyed spending time fishing and camping. He was an avid woodworker, crafting everything from bedroom furnishings, custom cabinets and doll houses. Above all, Donald enjoyed spending time with his beloved family.
Survivors include his children, Tina (Bryan) Moler of Davenport, Terrance (Karen) Dage of Orange Park, FL, Todd (Lori) Dage of Davenport; three grandchildren, Bryan Moler, Jordan Dage and Ethan Dage; sister, Verna (James) Grider; brothers, Wesley (Audrey) Dage, Raymond (Patricia) Dage and Gerald (Joy) Dage.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Jeane; and granddaughter, Bethany Dage.
