Donald W. Salsberry

Donald W. Salsberry, 60, of Davenport passed away Wednesday, August 23, 2017. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, September 16, 2017 from 2:00 to 4:00pm at Golden Leaf Center, Davenport. Donald was born January 20, 1957 in Davenport a son of Andrew and Patricia (Vaughn) Salsberry. He was united in marriage to Debra Orendorff in 1986. Don worked for many years as a manufacturing machinist, most recently working at Cobham for six years, as a production engineer.

Donald enjoyed all music, especially Blue Grass Music. He enjoyed John Wayne movies. Most of all Donald loved his family.

He is survived by his loving wife of 31 years, Debra; sons, Jeremy (Kate) Salsberry, Bettendorf, and Tom Rathmann, Chicago; grandchildren: Alex, Katelin, Patrick, Conner, Tristan, Will and Walker Diaz and Jonathan Rathmann; brother, Robert (Kitty) Salsberry; sisters: Joy (Tom) Irons, Darci (Donnie Lanbert) Daniel and Amy Salsberry and sister-in-law, Teresa McLaughlin.

In addition to his parents Donald was preceded in death by his brother, Jeff Salsberry and nephew, James Ramsey.
