

Donna L. “Honey” Denger, 71, of Davenport, passed away at her home on Wednesday, February 17, 2010 surrounded by her loving family after a courageous battle with cancer. Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 20, at 2:30 PM at The Runge Mortuary. Visitation will be two hours prior to the service at the funeral home. Cremation rites will be accorded. Donna was born on January 19, 1939 in Rock Island to Harry and Esther McDonald. She was united in marriage to Jack Denger on November 6, 1958 at Holy Family Catholic Church. Donna owned and operated Curves in Moline. She enjoyed life, her grandchildren, and her “dream home.” She collected many things and was very crafty, she had lots of hobbies. Donna loved traveling and shopping trips with her friends to Chicago. She really appreciated her family and loved them dearly. Donna was a very giving person and was thrilled with the little things in life.
Those left to honor her memory include her loving husband Jack of 52 years, children; Jill (John “ JR”) Arth Milwaukee, WI, John (Vickie) Denger, Davenport, Scott (Jennifer) Denger, Davenport, 5 grandchildren; Marshall, Jennifer, Faris, Drake, Alexis, 3 great grandchildren; Cypress, Cade, and Maven, and a brother Patrick (Jolyn) McDonald, Eldridge.
She is preceded in death by her parents.
