Donnie A. Davis

A celebration of life service will be held from 2-4PM, Saturday, July 2, 2016 at Runge Mortuary in Davenport, Iowa. Online tributes may be expressed at www.rungemortuary.com.

He was born June 4, 1937 to Wallace and Lilly Davis. He graduated from Moulton (IA) Independent Schools in 1956. He married Lana R. (Forber) Kelly in May 1977. He worked at J.I. Case, Long Manufacturing, Uchtorff Company, National Metal Craft, and Honda Distribution before retiring in 2011.

He enjoyed traveling, walking outdoors, golfing at many local courses, reading, watching sports, eagle watching on the Mississippi, and spending time with his family and grandkids as well as the family pets.

Mr. Davis is survived by his wife, Lana; brother, Jerry (and Helen) Davis (Glendale, AZ); many nephews and nieces, his sons, Tim (Sheila) Kelly (Davenport, IA) and Daren (Rhonda) Kelly (Yelm, WA), daughter, Dana (Chuck) Kelly-Manternach (Wildwood, MO); and two step grandchildren and seven grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Roger and Jack.
