Donnie Joe Meadows

A visitation will be from 1 to 3 pm on Thursday, July 14, 2022 at The Runge Mortuary. His final resting place will be in Davenport Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorials may go to the family.

Donnie was born on April 5, 1937 in Imboden, Arkansas to Raymond Edward and Thelma Elaine (Murphy) Meadows. He married Vivian Eastwood of Davenport. She preceded him in death in 1985. He later married Sandy Iversen on May 23, 1988 in Davenport. She preceded him in death on February 26, 2012.

Donnie worked for Caterpillar, first as a machinist and then moved on to be an Inspector, for over 25 years before retiring. He then worked for Joe Witty at The Village Bakery for nine years. In his free time, he loved to go fishing and enjoyed his favorite beverage, Pabst Blue Ribbon Beer.

Those left to honor his memory include his daughter, Donna, Davenport, granddaughter, Brittany Misner (Keymo Hare), of Davenport and her children, Malik Johnson and Mila Hare, special friend, Barbara Cain, Kentucky and her children, Penny Estay, Charles Brady, both of Kentucky and David Cain, Davenport, stepson, Lloyd Eastwood, Topeka, KS and a nephew, Ed Railey, Oklahoma City, OK. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by stepchildren, Linda Booth and Steven Booth and a brother, Ed.
