Doris Lucille Bunge

Doris L. Bunge, 77, of formerly of Davenport and more recently Fulton, IL passed away Wednesday, January 12, 2011 at Genesis East Medical Center Davenport. Cremation will be done with a memorial services to be held 10:00 AM Monday, January 17, 2011 at the Runge Mortuary & Crematory. Burial will follow at Davenport Memorial Park Cemetery. Doris was born September 10, 1933 in Loami, IL to John & Olive (Manning) Mills. She was a graduate of East Moline High School. She was united in marriage to Vic Bunge on January 4, 1975 in Davenport.

Doris worked as an administrative assistant for 20 plus years at Eagle Signal and then with Warren Packaging from where she retired in 2005. Doris was a volunteer for RSVP in Clinton and loved to help others.

Her grandchildren & children were very special to her and she loved to praise them and share their successes with others.

Survivors include a son Daniel (Bonnie) Pulse, Dixon, IA; daughter Diane foster, Davenport, IA; 6 grandchildren Nicole Murphy, Mitchell McAtee, Travis Pulse, Jessica Pulse, Brittany Hayes, and Dylan Fleming; 13 great Grandchildren, and a step daughter Jackie Schroeder, Le Claire, IA.

Doris was preceded in death by her parents, a brother Robert Mills & a step daughter Christine McAtee.
