Doris M. Evans, 94, of Davenport, Iowa passed away Tuesday, May 28, 2024 at her home surrounded by her family. Funeral services to honor her memory will be held on Monday, June 3, 2024 at 2pm at Weerts Funeral Home; visitation will be before the service starting at 1pm.
Doris was born on June 21, 1929 to Earl and Ethel Wolfe. She graduated from Davenport High School. Doris was united in marriage to Donald Evans on July 25, 1950; he passed away in 2002. She worked as a nurses aid at Hilltop Nursing Home. Doris enjoyed making ceramics at the Friendly House. She had a caring heart and enjoyed taking care of her children and grandchildren as they grew.
Doris is survived by her three children and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband Donald; two children; her parents; and three siblings.
