Dorothy F. Durr, 90, of Davenport, passed away Thursday, June 21, 2012 at Bettendorf Health Care Center. Per her wishes cremation rites were accorded. She was born June 3, 1922 in South English, Iowa, the daughter of Samuel and Edna (Saxton) Keiser. She was united in marriage to Russell Durr in South English on February 29, 1940. He preceded her in death in 1999.
Dorothy was employed at Abel-Keppy Animal Hospital in Bettendorf retiring in 1985. She enjoyed gardening and taking care of stray animals.
Survivors include her son, Larry (Rachel) Durr, Davenport; two grandchildren, Linda Cohen-Brookhart and Michael Durr; and four great grandchildren, Andrea, Sam, Isaac and Kelsey.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Lyle, and her sister, Mary Mae.
