Dorothy I. Reis, 84, of Davenport, died Friday, June 10, 2011 at Genesis West. Funeral services will be Tuesday, June 14, 2011 at 1:00 pm at The Runge Mortuary. Visitation will be Tuesday from noon until the service.

Dorothy was born August 29, 1926 in Davenport, the daughter of Myron and Irene (Dreyer) Aldrich. She was united in marriage to William R. Reis on May 1, 1944 in Davenport; he preceded her in death on May 31, 1981. She enjoyed gardening, cooking and spending time with her grandchildren.
Those left to honor her memory include her sons: Richard, John and Michael (Angela), Davenport; grandchildren: Shanna, Ben, Ellie, Jack and Matt Reis and a sister, Judy Miller, Davenport.
Her parents and brothers James and Lester preceded her in death.
