Dr. Duane Jon Schumaker

Funeral services will be held at the Runge Mortuary on Saturday November 12 at 12pm with visitation 1 hour prior to service. Online condolences may be left at www.rungemortuary.com.

Throughout his life Duane wore many hats. He was a plumber, mechanic, electrician, and electrical contractor. He was a graduate of Palmer College of Chiropractic. He was a brilliant chiropractor and he helped many families, sometimes without charge. Duane served his country in the United States Army. He was stationed in Germany during the Vietnam War, where he met his first wife and the mother of his children.

He is survived by his daughters, Christine Schumaker, Michelle (Mike) Preusser; granddaughter Amanda Preusser; and brothers Dennis Schumaker, Don Schumaker, Dan Schumaker.

He was preceded in death by his parents Norma and John Schumaker.

He will be sorely missed by his Tiger and his Cotton Top who look forward to seeing their beloved father in that great kingdom on the other side.
