Duane D. Traman

Memorial services for Duane D. Traman, 59, of Davenport will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 12, 2013 at Cunnick-Collins Mortuary chapel in Davenport. Per his wishes, cremation rites have been accorded. Mr. Traman passed away on Tuesday, January 8, 2013 at the home of his brother and sister-in-law, Phillip and Shirley, in Rock Island, IL. Duane Dean Traman was born on January 17, 1953 in Iowa City, IA, the son of Glenn and Mary (Wagg) Traman. On January 6, 2006 he married Marjorie Fransen in Mason City, IA. She preceded him in death in 2008. Duane enjoyed working on vehicles and was considered an electrical wiz when it came to electronic equipment. He loved music and watching movies. He is survived by his Siblings: Phillip (Shirley) Traman of Rock Island, IL, Roger Traman of Ft. Madison, IA, Larry (Sue) Traman of Abingdon, IL, Marilyn (John) Emerson of TX, Sharon (Terry) Bernhart of Burlington, IA, Darlene Walker of Ft. Madison, IA, Ronald Traman of Burlington, IA, and Mark Traman of Burlington, IA; a Step-daughter: Debbie (Pete) Jones of Mason City, IA. In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by a brother and a sister.
