Eddie T. Carter, 76, of Davenport, passed away Thursday, December 24, 2015 at Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House. Committal services will be held at 1 pm, Tuesday, December 29, 2015 at the Davenport Memorial Park Cemetery mausoleum. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the Runge Mortuary. He was born July 5, 1939 in Monroe County, Mississippi, the son E.Z. and Avaleen (Stafford) Carter and was employed at Oscar Mayer for thirty years.
Survivors include special friend Linda Robertson; a son, Kenny; grandchildren: Blake, Bo, Krystal, Isaiah, Shyanna and William and two sisters: Mary Lou and Marsue. He was preceded in death by a son, Daryl.
