Eldeen L. Binns, 85, of Davenport passed away peacefully at her home on Sunday, June 7, 2015. Funeral services will be held at 1 pm, Thursday, June 11, 2015 at Risen Christ Lutheran Church in Davenport. Visitation will be from 4-7 pm Wednesday at the Runge Mortuary. A Davenport native, Eldeen married Wesley Binns in 1948 in Winterset. He preceded her in death. Her memberships included Risen Christ Lutheran Church, Red Hat Ladies and Northwest Turners. She enjoyed playing bingo and crocheting.
Survivors include her children: Rose Snyder (John Weiland), Pat Tracy (Jeff Ryder) and Connie Smithiger; twenty two grandchildren; twenty eight great grandchildren, three great-great grandchildren and three sisters: Delores Hayden, Amoura Stock and Gloria Miller.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter, at birth; a son, Kevin Binns; four brothers; two sisters and her parents, Alvin (Sr.) and Selma Dooley.
