

A memorial service for Elida Page Foster, 88, of Davenport, IA will be at Koning Chapel at Ridgecrest Village, Davenport, IA, time to be announced. She passed away Sunday, July 16, 2017 after a long battle with cancer.
Elida Marie Page was born September 22, 1928 in Woodstock, IL daughter of Charles Ray and Mary Frances (Going) Page. In 1950 Elida achieved her childhood goal when she received and accounting degree from the University of Illinois. She married Conley Neil Foster on September 8, 1951, in McHenry, IL.
Elida returned to the Quad Cities just a year ago, after retiring with her husband to Mt. Home,
Arkansas in 1988. She enjoyed tennis and golf, well into retirement, as well as, playing bridge, gardening, camping and traveling, visiting all 50 States. She volunteered at the Mt. Home Hospital for many years and was an active member of the First Presbyterian Church of Mountain Home. Elida will be remembered as an active and confident woman with a soft side.
She is survived by her daughter, Eliszabeth Ann Foster, Round Rock, TX; two sons, William (Holly) Foster, Temeula, CA and Richard Neal Foster, Moline, IL; sister, Celia McFarland; eight grandchildren, Juliet Jurkovskis, Amanda Jurkovskis, Allegra Nears, LeeAnn Leavitt, Martha Kemp, Rachel Boswell, Heather Revers and Brandon Foster; and eight great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband and sister, Bonnie Meyers.
Memorials may be made to the Genesis Hospice, Davenport, through the Genesis Health Services Foundation.
