Elisabeth was born October 7, 1934 in Seligenstadt Germany. She was the daughter of Joseph and Regina (Dobert) Ohwerk. She married Raymond Williams on September 16, 1960 in Germany. He preceded her in death on September 26, 2009.
In earlier years, she worked at the Arsenal PX as a manager before becoming a homemaker. She loved to play bingo, knit, crochet, be outdoors and was an avid Green Bay Packers fan. She loved to sew quilts, clothing for her children as well as doll clothes for her daughter. Elisabeth still had her original sewing machine that she created all her beautiful items with. However, her greatest joy was her grandchildren. Her strengths were passed on to them and she will be lovingly remembered as a sweet mother, grandmother and friend who had a big heart!
Those left to honor her memory are her daughters, Brigitte (Houman) Tehranchi and Mary Williams; grandchildren: Sofie (Johnathan), Cyrus, Celeste and Chloe; sisters Gisela (Karl) Grimm and Elfi (Herbert) Bartosch, great granddaughters, Malia and Elise, nieces and nephew: Birgit (Alban) Kurzawe, Stefan (Freda) Grimm and Tanja Bartosch along with her son-in-law, Michael Dierks. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Martina.
