Emma was born on December 15th, 1958, in Louisville, Mississippi to Charles and Lucille Tatum. She was preceded in death by both parents; a son, Marcus Tatum; grandchildren Christopher Tatum Jr., Shannon Tatum, and DeShawn Tatum; brothers, LaVorn “Pete” Harrington, and Bobby Tatum.
Emma leaves to celebrate her life: three sons—Christopher Tatum, Curtis Tatum, and Reginald Wicks; grandchildren, siblings, a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews. All of whom love and will miss her dearly.
Funeral services will be held at Weerts Funeral Home on Monday, October 13th at 11 a.m. Visitation will start an hour earlier at 10 a.m. Emma will be laid to rest at Pine Hill Cemetery.
The family wishes to thank her caregivers and the medical staff for their compassion and support.
