Evelyn A. Gullion

The family will greet friends 12:00pm to 2:00pm on Thursday, September 28, 2023 at the Runge Mortuary Davenport. The funeral will be at 2:00pm Thursday, September 28, 2023 in the Runge Chapel with burial to follow at Davenport Memorial Park. Memorials may be made to Scott County 4H or Gilda’s Club Davenport. Evelyn was born in rural Scott County east of Eldridge on October 21, 1936 to Edwin & Emma (Stoltenberg) Peters. Evelyn was raised on the farm and eventually worked as a teller at Davenport Bank for 20 plus years. In March of 1975 was she was united in marriage to Earl Gullion in Davenport, IA. He preceded her in death November 26, 2021.

Evelyn enjoyed working in her flowers garden, taking bus trips with the NW Bank tours, fishing with Earl & family, and bowling in the Mother Goose Bowling league at 30 Lanes.

Survivors include children, Michael (Patti) Gullion, FL, Randy (Mary) Gullion, Davenport, and Karen Ames, Bettendorf; Grandchildren Joelyn, Jill, Lexie, Mike, Adam, Justin, Kent, Heather, Ryan, and Nicole; and numerous great grandchildren, nieces & nephews.

Evelyn was preceded in death by her husband, parents, and siblings.
