Francisco Manuel Troncao

Francisco “Frank” Troncao, 70, of Davenport, IA passed away on Sunday, January 30, 2022 at Genesis East Medical Center. Per his request, private services will be held at Weerts Funeral Home with burial to follow at the Rock Island National Cemetery. Memorials in Frank’s name may be made to Team Rubicon.

Frank was born on November 11, 1951 in Vale DeVargo, Portugal to Bento and Ursula (Rodrigues) Troncao. Frank’s family moved to the United State when he was 16 years old. Following his High School graduation, Frank joined the US Army and served during the Vietnam era. Frank greatly enjoyed spending time with his two sons and his grandsons.

Those to honor Frank’s memory are his sons Joe (Sarah) Troncao and Sean (April) Troncao; two grandsons Ethan (Cassie) and Damien; sisters Anna (Francisco) Troncao and Ilda Troncao; brothers Manuel, Bento, and Domingos Troncao; and his longtime companion Andi Burkhardt. He was preceded in death by his parents and his ex-wife and life long friend Suzie Troncao.
