Frank Ray Lang

Frank Ray Lang, 82, of Davenport passed away Wednesday, December 7, 2016 at his residence. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. Friday, December 16, 2016 with visitation an hour prior to the service at the mortuary Friday. Burial will be in National Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the family.

Frank was born on May 4, 1934 in Belvidere, IL, a son of Ray and Ethel (Johnson) Lang. He was united in marriage to Patricia Myers on June 18, 1954. He was very proud of his service in the Air Force and retired from MidAmerican Energy Company.

Frank loved airplanes, R.C. planes and radios and was a member of the R.C. Radio Club in Davenport and Moline. He loved to travel having traveled with the Air Force and especially enjoyed going to Mardi Gras. He was a very giving, compassionate and big-hearted man.

Survivors include his wife, Patricia; children, Rick Lang, MS, Ron Lang, Davenport and Robin (James) Stock, Davenport; grandchildren, Anthony Lang Davenport and Adam (Jessica) Day, Davenport; great grandchildren, Ava, Jenna and Jameson, Davenport and sister, Audrey Davey, WI.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
