

Per his request, his body was donated to the University of Iowa. A memorial service will be held at Newcomb Presbyterian Church, Davenport, on Sunday, August 7, 2022 at 11:30 a.m. Memorials may be made to the church. Online condolences may be expressed at www.rungemortuary.com.
Frank was born September 16, 1921, in Albuquerque, NM, the son of Fred and Veronica (Michael) Wulf. He was united in marriage to Dorothy Kohn on September 16, 1954 at Newcomb Presbyterian Church, Davenport.
He served in the U.S. Navy during WWII as a Motor Machinist’s Mate, third class, on a LCI ship seeing action in the South Pacific. He was a precision tool grinder at Bessler Locomotive Works and then at Red Jacket. He enjoyed working 19 years at VanderVeer Park as a floriculturist designing and planting flower beds. His favorite things were gardening, singing in the church choir and with the Golden Tones, traveling on cruises and abroad, going to the River Bandits games, and going to Sandy & Arnie’s for dinner and losing at dominoes.
He had been a member of Friendship Force, Plus 60, Davenport Horticultural Society, Tri-City Rose & Garden Club, Friends of Vander Veer, CASI Golden Tones, and Newcomb Presbyterian Church. He enjoyed lunch at the Family Restaurant for many years.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Dorothy; brother, LaVern; and twin brother, Edward.
Those left to honor his memory are 9 nieces and nephews; 24 great nieces and nephews; and many great-great nieces and nephews.
