Frederick "Fritz" Miller

Frederick C. “Fritz” Miller, 64, of Davenport passed away December 6, 2015 following a long courageous battle with cancer. Funeral services will be held at 11 am, Thursday, December 10, 2015 at Trinity Lutheran Church, 1122 W. Central Park Avenue, Davenport. Visitation will be from 4-8 pm, Wednesday, at the Runge Mortuary and one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family. “Fritz’ was born August 29, 1951 in Madison, Wisconsin, a son of Charles and Alice (Jensen) Miller. On May 15, 1982 he married the love of his life, Sherri Rawson, in Davenport.

He was passionate about historic preservation, rugby, his faith and his family. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and Promise Keepers and had been a leader of Bible Study Fellowship.

Survivors include his wife, Sherri; daughter Karin Miller (Ethan Hill), son Kai Miller; mother Alice Miller; two brothers Greg (Deb) Miller and Ken (Darlene) Miller; an aunt Doris Lisenbee, along with numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father.
