George David Weber

George D. Weber, 68, of Davenport passed away Monday, July 3, 2017. Following cremation, a memorial service will be held at 12:00 noon, Saturday, July 8, 2017 in the Runge Mortuary Chapel. Visitation will be two hours prior to service. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Humane Society of Scott County, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or Charity of Donor’s Choice. Online condolences may be expressed at www.rungemortuary.com. George was born October 31, 1948 in Davenport a son of Wilbur and Jeanette Weber. He was a 1967 graduate of Davenport Central High School. On March 9, 1974 he married Vicki Sheley. He owned and operated Photos by George prior to his retirement. For many years he was active in Rising Knights Youth Football.

George enjoyed spending time with his family and traveling. Survivors include his wife, Vicki; children: Jennifer (Jason) Johnson, Jessica Weber and Brian Weber; three grandchildren: Stryker, Dakota and Peyton; brothers, Dennis (Pat) Weber and Rick (Jill) Weber; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to his parents George was also preceded in death by a brother, William.
