He was born on June 27, 1932 in Missouri Valley, Iowa. Jerry honorably served in the U.S Navy and was a disabled veteran of the Korean War.
Those left to cherish his memory include his five children: Terry Ruth, Bettendorf, IA, Debbie Moss, Denver, CO, Judy VanBlaracom, Davenport, IA, Gary Moss Genoa, IL, Carol Hughes, Bettendorf, IA; nine grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
